I have been an avid reader since I learned to read. Birthday money always went to buy books.
My grandfather was a newspaper editor. One of my uncles was a writer for The New Yorker. Several uncles were journalists. My mother was such an avid reader people said she wouldn’t notice the house burning down if she was engrossed in a book!
I love to read and am a lover of words. You can expect me to prepare your manuscript for publication by polishing, clarifying and strengthening it with the a dual-sided point of view of keeping you, the author, and your readers, happy.
Editing, Ghostwriting, Proofreading, Manuscript Evaluation is my full time occupation. I love what I do, waking up every morning eager to get to work.
If you are a new author with a promising book idea but don’t know quite where to start, I can help. Check out my Preliminary Evaluation service. This may be just what you are looking for.

My writing and editing skills were honed with Bill Manville as my teacher. Bill is a former Village Voice columnist (“Saloon Society”) and a Contributing Editor for Helen Gurley Brown at Cosmo. He is the author of six books published by major New York houses — one a Book-of-the-Month Club selection. He wrote Cool, Hip & Sober after drinking his way into two New York hospitals in ten days — his kidneys too alcohol-paralyzed to pee. He is now sober over 20 years.
After helping five people self-publish their books I went on to publish my own book: “Becoming Conscious: One Woman’s Story of Spiritual Awakening.”
